Small Groups, Safe & Unforgettable Experience
Manta Ray Diving Bali trips with Zero Gravity Diving focus on small groups, safety, comfort, and truly enjoyable diving experiences.
Small groups, experienced dive guides, and one of the highest chances for manta ray encounters in Bali.
No rush, no crowded groups, just well-organized dives done the right way.
At Zero Gravity Diving, you experience Bali diving the way it should be: personal, well-organized, and focused on quality rather than volume.
We are based in Sanur and organize diving trips across Bali with a strong focus on small groups. With a maximum of 4 divers per instructor, you receive the attention, safety, and relaxed atmosphere that makes a real difference underwater.
We don’t run “factory diving”. Every trip is carefully organized, from clear briefings and smooth logistics to calm, well-managed dives.
Nusa Penida is one of the most famous diving destinations in Bali, internationally known for manta rays, crystal-clear water, dramatic underwater landscapes, and world-class diving conditions.
Our manta diving trips mainly focus on Manta Point, the most reliable manta ray dive site in Bali.
Manta Point is both a manta cleaning station and a manta nursery area, where reef manta rays regularly gather to be cleaned by smaller reef fish. Younger manta rays are also commonly seen in the area, creating excellent opportunities for long and natural manta encounters during the dive.
Unlike many other manta locations around the world, manta rays can often be encountered here throughout most of the year.
Depending on ocean conditions and recent manta activity, our guides may also occasionally check nearby locations such as Manta Bay.
Ocean conditions around Nusa Penida can vary depending on season, tides, and weather conditions.
Water temperature usually ranges between:
• 22°C – 29°C
Some dive sites around Nusa Penida may experience currents, especially during changing tides and colder ocean upwellings.
For this reason, our guides evaluate ocean conditions daily and organize groups according to certification level, diving experience, comfort level underwater, and safety.
Manta rays can be encountered around Nusa Penida during most of the year.
Conditions are often excellent during Bali’s dry season, when visibility is usually better and ocean conditions more stable.
Because manta rays are wild marine animals, sightings can never be guaranteed. However, Manta Point consistently offers one of the highest chances for manta ray encounters in Bali.
Yes. Beginners and non-certified guests can join our Manta Ray Diving Bali trips through the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience.
Manta Point is one of the best locations in Bali for beginner manta dives because the cleaning station is usually found at shallow depths between 6–12 meters, where ocean conditions are often suitable for first-time divers.
Certified divers can also continue to additional dive sites around Nusa Penida depending on experience and ocean conditions.
This experience is ideal for divers and ocean lovers who value quality over price.
